Dear Foregen supporters,
As the year progresses, we continue to make strides that we'd like to share with you. Here are the key updates for last month:
Impending Approval for Sheep Experiments
We are pleased to share that Dr. Palumbo expects to receive ethics approval for the next round of sheep experiments within a few days. We apologize for the delay.
Rescheduling of Cadaver Lab Session
Unfortunately, Dr. Riccio came down with a fever which made it necessary to reschedule the second cadaver lab session to November 30th. We look forward to the completion of these sessions and to integrate the resulting data and observations into the development of our proposed surgical procedure.
Ongoing Consultations with External Experts
Our Board of Directors has continued to meet with outside experts, receiving valuable feedback on our procedure and exploring potential future collaborations. These discussions, particularly on topics like nerve regeneration, Meissner's corpuscles, and vascularization, are vital for perfecting our surgical approach.
Fundraising Success
We’re thrilled to announce that we have raised over $35,000 in our GoFundMe campaign! In November, the community also raised a total of $29,986 (which includes the GoFundMe). We are deeply grateful for your ongoing commitment and enthusiasm!
$50,000 Matching Campaign
We are launching a matching campaign for the month of December, generously sponsored by the Lavine Family! Every donation made to Foregen, including those to our GoFundMe fundraiser, will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000 until the end of the year. This is a fantastic opportunity to potentially earn tax benefits before the end of the year and to double the impact of your support!
Sincerely,
Ryan Jones
