We're excited to announce a new research partnership with Dr. Stanislav Žiaran, MD, PhD., MPH, FEBU a urological surgeon and distinguished researcher in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering! Currently an Associate Professor at Comenius University Bratislava, Dr. Žiaran brings valuable expertise to our mission, having recently co-authored innovative research on foreskin tissue engineering published in European Urology.

Working alongside Dr. Žiaran is PhD candidate Ing. Ján Kováč, whose specialized background in biomedical research and tissue engineering makes him ideally suited for this collaboration. Mr. Kováč's experience includes extensive work with 3D bioprinting, tissue decellularization, and recellularization at the National Institute of Rheumatic Diseases, where he has been conducting research since April 2022. His previous role at IQVIA provided him with valuable experience in clinical research protocols and regulatory compliance.

This partnership will focus on completing essential preclinical milestones:

  1. Tissue collection and storage protocol
  2. Optimizing dynamic decellularization protocols for ECM preparation
  3. Developing advanced recellularization techniques
  4. Utilizing bioreactor technology for tissue maturation

Work began in November 2024.

Thanks to your incredible support, we've raised $93,000 through our GoFundMe campaign, enabling us to pursue this historic research. We will be providing quarterly forecasts of our research progress, along with monthly updates to keep you informed of our advancement toward human clinical trials.

The combination of Dr. Žiaran's leadership and Mr. Kováč's specialized expertise in tissue engineering positions us strongly to complete all remaining preparatory steps for human clinical trials in a timely and cost-effective manner. This partnership represents a significant step forward in our mission to develop regenerative medicine solutions for circumcised men.
