Dear Foregen Supporters,
Due to recent events surrounding the situation with COVID-19, we have an important update to share with you all.
As most of you are aware, we are currently conducting our scientific operations in Italy. As many of you also know, Italy has suffered a significant impact due to the spread of COVID-19. At this time, all operations in Italy are temporarily suspended and will resume when the physical and legal situation in Italy permits for it.
Additionally, it is with regret that we must cancel our pilot trip to South Korea. We had intended for this trip to function as an important step into our second largest market as well as to meet with important figures from local universities in Seoul. We will make it a priority to seek out future opportunities to network in South Korea, and we apologize to our Korean supporters who had planned to visit us during our time there.
Lastly, we do not currently anticipate any further disturbances with the administrative functions of the company, given that our volunteers can and usually do their work remotely. However, this is subject to change as current events unfold in Europe, the United States, and elsewhere. We will provide updates promptly with any new information, but will otherwise continue to function normally outside of Italy.
